Abstract
Najvaţnija podjela trţišta je ona na trţište novca i trţište kapitala koja se temelje na ročnosti instrumenata s kojima se na njima trguje. Trţište novca sluţi za trgovanje kratkoročnim vrijednosnim papirima, gdje se pojedinci i institucije koje imaju trenutni višak sredstava susreću s uzimateljem zajmova kojima trenutno nedostaju sredstva. Trţište kapitala je nastalo i sluţi za financiranje dugoročnih investicija od strane tvrtki, domaćinstava i drţava. Posebno se nastojalo osvrnuti na trţište kapitala, odnosno trţište kapitala u Republici Hrvatskoj koje sluţi za financiranje dugoročnih investicija te instrumenti imaju rok dospijeća duţi od godine dana. U ovom radu prikazana su financijska trţišta Republike Hrvatske s posebnim naglaskom na Trţište novca Zagreb, kojeg su u periodu od njegovog nastanka 1991. godine do danas obiljeţila tri razdoblja. TakoĎer u završnom radu se analizira burzovno trţište odnosno trţište na kojem se trguje vrijednosnim papirima,te se posebna pozornost posvećuje Zagrebačkoj burzi.
Abstract (english)
The most important division of the market is that the money market and capital market, which are based on the maturity of the instruments with which they are traded on. The Money Market serves for short-term securities trading, where individuals and institutions with current surplus funds meet with borrowers who currently lack funds. The capital market has emerged and serves to finance long-term investments by companies, households and states. The capital market in Republic of Croatia is important economical tool that serves in financing the longterm investments with instruments of redemption date longer than one year. This paper presents financial markets of Croatia, with special emphasis on the Money Market of Zagreb, which is, in the period from its inception in 1991 until today, marked by three periods. Also in the final paper, the stock market, ie the market in which it is traded, is analyzed and special attention is paid to the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
